Polish Daikon Salad {Sałatka z Rzodkwi}

Daikon in Polish is called biała rzodkiew [bya-wa rzoh-dkyev] = white radish. It has a sharp flavor of a radish, and snowy while flesh. In this salad, combined with yoghurt, heavy cream and spices and lemon juice it tastes creamy and refreshing. I often see it being served as a part of a salad-trio in Polish restaurants. The other two are often sauerkraut salad and carrot salad or beet salad. I like it served with meat dishes, like stewed pork ribs or beef rolls or fried fish
