    1. Hi Teresa, I boil mine. After they’ve cooled off I place them on a barking sheet so they don’t touch, layer with wax paper if I have a lot and freeze. Once frozen I transfer into zip top bags. Then when ready to eat, I place in a frying pan with just a bit of water in it and some butter. Cook covered for a few minutes until they thaw. Then uncover and let water evaporate and brown. Good luck! Anna

    1. Natalia, keep trying. Practice makes perfect, but they don’t even have to be perfect. It will get easier each time. Start with the easy sealing method (with a fork) and practice. The reward will be priceless 😉

  1. Hi Anna,
I love, love your recipes and videos and have put Poland on my travel bucket list when we can safely move around again.

Where did you get your pastry board? Or can you provide measurements and type of wood?

    Thanks
    Barbara

  2. I am so glad I found this site. I have been able to bring Poland to my daughter and her family into Wigilia and the 3 day celebration we will observe beginning today. I made the Christmas Fruitcake for them and placemats with our home language to greet. Thank you again for this opportunity to bring traditions into our holiday to share, enjoy and repeat each year and to include even more traditions.
